The context

A workflow worth connecting.

A guest journey continues after booking. Digitels connects reservations and payments with services during a stay, including a mobile interface for the connected devices available in a room.

What the project covers

  • Hotel search, room selection, reservations, and payment flows
  • Check-in, guest details, and extended stays
  • Restaurant orders and housekeeping requests
  • MQTT controls for supported lights, AC, TV, curtains, and access devices

The connected workflow

  1. 01Reserve a room
  2. 02Check in
  3. 03Request guest services
  4. 04Control supported devices

A simplified view of the workflow described in the project documentation.

Inside the implementation

Engineering decisions.

01

Connect the app to physical devices

MQTT publish/subscribe sends device commands and receives messages. Controls vary by device type, while connection indicators communicate connectivity to the guest.

02

Join booking and in-stay services

Navigation, Redux state, and API services connect reservation data, payments, guest information, and hotel services across the mobile experience.

03

Reuse UI across platforms

React Native supports Android and iOS projects, with shared UI components and integrations for QR scanning, location, and notifications.

Scope & validation

Device support depends on the equipment available at each property. The documented scope covers mobile and IoT integration, not device firmware or hardware development. Release status and measured usage are not established by the source.

Platform targets or native project configuration documented in the source; store availability is not asserted.
