The context

A workflow worth connecting.

An audio experience continues beyond the app screen. Vtrust combines content discovery and playlists with playback controls, while separate subscription and merchandise flows handle access and purchases.

What the project covers

  • Audio programs, favorites, and personal playlists
  • Background playback and device media controls
  • Video content and PDF presentations
  • iOS audio subscriptions and merchandise order flows

The connected workflow

  1. 01Discover audio or content
  2. 02Build a playlist
  3. 03Continue background playback
  4. 04Manage access and purchases

A simplified view of the workflow described in the project documentation.

Inside the implementation

Engineering decisions.

01

Integrate playback with the device

The playback service handles play, pause, next, and previous commands from device media controls, along with audio interruptions and Android playback lifecycle configuration.

02

Share state across content screens

Redux and Rematch hold session, connectivity, audio metadata, playlists, favorites, cart, and checkout state across the experience.

03

Keep platform purchase behavior explicit

React Native IAP connects iOS subscription packages to in-app purchase. The home-screen merchandise entry is shown on Android; the two platform flows should not be treated as identical.

Scope & validation

iOS in-app subscriptions and the Android home merchandise entry are distinct capabilities. The source describes implementation, not verified current store availability or successful production transactions.

Platform targets or native project configuration documented in the source; store availability is not asserted.
